HelpKit Knowledge Base [Template]
📖 Read the instructions

Check out our help article if you need help setting up your knowledge base 👇

⚠️
Do NOT remove, add or change any of the properties in any of the databases (the tables with your content) in your template. HelpKit won't properly work otherwise.

The Collections Table below stores all of your knowledge base collections. The idea is that you use these to categorize your help articles into separate collections so that your customers can easily find the article they are looking for.

Feel free to override the preexisting collection title and descriptions with your own content. You can also add and remove collections if you wish.

Adding a new collection:

  1. Hover with your mouse over the collection table
  1. Click on the 🔽 button next to New
  1. Click on the 👋 New Collection template button
    1. Notion image
  1. Edit your new collection

👋 Adding emojis/icons to your collection:

  1. Hover with your mouse over your desired collection
  1. Click on the OPEN (Open as a page) button
  1. Click on the icon on the very top of your page and either select a emoji or upload your own icon

DON'T FORGET TO SYNC

In order to serve your customers the fastest knowledge base on earth 🌍 we cache most of the data. This means that you have to press the 🔁 Sync now button in your admin dashboard whenever you change the structure of your knowledge base i.e collection/article title and description, article properties such as published etc. You don't have to 🔁 sync the content of your articles. They will always be updated live. It doesn't matter if you correct a typo or add a new paragraph, your customers will always see the live article.
